World Book Day

World Book Day 2019

Author Judy Waite visited and held workshops for all the year groups.

She enjoyed her time with us,

“What a fabulous school - fabulous pupils and truly impressive writing."

“On Thursday 7th March, Judy Waite came to our school as part of our World Book Day. Everyone dressed up in different costumes, which made the day great fun. Each child was also given a £1 token to get a free World Book Day Book.

Year 6 got an opportunity to write a story with Judy about time travelling to the Victorian times. She gave tips about how to write a good story and we shared ideas with the whole year, which improved our stories. Librarians also got a chance to eat lunch with her.  Everyone had a great day and she inspired lots of children to write stories.”
