Rolls Royce

March 2018 - Year 5 had an exciting time taking part in STEM workshops with Kate Barnard from Rolls Royce.  After an introduction to engineering, the children worked in teams to reassemble a section of engine then competed to build a vehicle that would travel the furthest when powered only by air. We discovered much about forces and team work and challenged many preconceptions about engineering.  Thank you, Rolls Royce, for inspiring our future engineers!
