Woodland Walk Days
What an amazing week for year 4! On Tuesday and Thursday, we took our learning down to the Woodland Walk. Activities included, building small boats, which we raced down a plastic pipe course and working in pairs to follow an adventure trail. Of course, we were blindfolded and had to walk backwards, forwards and we even had to carry water. Other activities included a maths investigation, where we looked at leaf length and width, created art in the style of Ratish Sharma and completed a wildlife scavenger hunt. The highlight of these two days was definitely using the outdoor classroom and also the camp fire. The sausages and marshmallows were delicious and the hot chocolate was a welcome extra.
