Allotment

In autumn 2014, we were awarded a grant from Hampshire Gardens Trust to develop an unused piece of land in between our hazel arch and log seating into an allotment.  Mr Carr made three raised beds and we planted vegetables and soft fruit.  Since then, we've added a Keyhole Eco-Garden constructed entirely from unwanted materials such as old pallets, flint, wood offcuts, and ash from the fire pit, which has a central core to compost our green waste.    Year 5 helped Mr Carr to make bird boxes for our Bird Hotel!
